Necessary Flow

Being there, in the silence of the savannah, is for me an act of belonging. I do not look for the perfect shot, but for a connection with a reality where balance is the true strength and life is a continuous flow. My photographs are frozen moments, fragments of a spectacle where I am a privileged spectator, witnessing the resilience and tenderness of a world that does not need us to be perfect.

Part I: The Gaze of the Witness

My way of seeing translates into deliberate choices of space and time. I carefully select what to reveal and what to leave out, moving between intimate details and the vastness of the landscape to offer my testimony of a higher harmony.

Part II: THE DIGNITY OF THE PREY (YIN)

If the predator owes its survival to the prey, the prey owes its resilience to the predator. It is a silent dialogue where even the blood on a feline's muzzle becomes a necessary color in the canvas of regeneration.

Alert impala standing in the woodland, a fine art witness to the constant vigilance of wildlife

Part III: The Cycle and Tenderness

From the extreme fragility of a steenbok to the tenderness of a young cub, everything is connected in a single breath. These images arise from my way of being in the world: observing with respect the hunter and the resilient sweetness of the hunted.

Part IV: The Predator’s Necessity (Yang)

The leopard’s gaze or the cheetah’s hunt are not acts of cruelty, but vital engines that regulate the ecosystem, ensuring the health of the plains and the strength of the gene pool.

Part V: Closing the Circle

We are all part of the same, magnificent, vital flow. These photographs are frozen moments of a harmony that does not need us to be perfect.
